Lisa has a background in analyzing processes, identifying current state, and developing to-be state to increase effectiveness and efficiencies, specifically in the areas of risk and compliance management. She has extensive experience in leading projects encompassing Risk & GRC Strategy; GRC business process improvement; GRC convergence and integration strategy; and GRC technology implementation (ServiceNow GRC/IRM, Workiva, AuditBoard, Archer). Lisa’s experience includes providing services to clients across the full lifecycle of process improvement through enablement via technology and system implementation to help companies more effectively manage oversight and assurance functions. Lisa founded the Women of Risk Community (WORC), a group focused on advancing women in the Risk profession with over members in over 40 countries.Lisa holds a BS degree in Information and Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and both the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations.Lisa is on the Board of Directors for a DC-based non-profit, Young Playwrights’ Theater. Lisa is also an active volunteer at N Street Village - a women\'s homeless and rehabilitation center in Washington, DC. Lisa serves on the N Street Village Ambassadors Council and Impact Committee. She is an advocate for women and girls in STEM and supports Girls Who Code and Stem for Her.
