Performs safety analyses (exploratory simulations and resimulations, statistical breakdowns, stack-up analyses, STPAs, etc.) on autonomous driving systems (L2+ and above) spanning the functions of sensing, perception, planning, control, and human-machine interface • Designs safety solutions based on aforementioned analyses to ensure robustness of systems to the conditions that they may be exposed to • Develops scenarios for validation of systems • Develops SOTIF-related processes and work products for organization, ensuring involvement of all disciplines in safety from start to finish of a project • Develops SOTIF-related trainings for organization • Participates in safety-related standards working groups and consortiums
