Make recommendations directly to the Division Director and the Superintendent and actively participate in briefing the Mayor and City Council on policy and program recommendations as needed- Oversee athletic field/facility scheduling processes and ensure that the recreation needs of the diverse Seattle community are met and that field uses are allocated equitably- Manage relationships with Seattle Public Schools, Seattle Pacific University, community based athletic organizations, advocacy groups and program participants- Conduct market surveys and /or public outreach to under-represented communities to broaden inclusiveness and greater access to facilities- Collaborate with other City departments and local agencies on cross-departmental programs, opportunities, ad-hoc events, and policy impacts- Develop, propose, and implement strategies that improve effectiveness and efficiencies through technology-based software- Develop unit performance measures, metrics, and goals; monitor, measure success and provide quarterly updates on measures.
