Responsible for the design and development of instructor-led, eLearning, and blended learning solutions to support global GIA Education and the international gemstone and jewelry industry. Conduct needs analysis and other research to identify and validate education needs, recommend training designs based on customer requirements, and develop content. Work closely with team of photographers, videographers, graphic artists, editors, developers and subject matter experts to create materials in a variety of media (digital to print.)• Designed, developed and narrated GIA Laboratory Operations Video tour, a 25 minute video produced to replace a 2.5 hour tour provided to graduate gemology students. Enabled students to maximize their classroom time yet still experience lab tour. In addition, decreased interruption to lab personnel and operations.• Streamline material creation by developing standardized request process and documents to maximize efficient use of department resources and provide best learning solutions. Aim is to increase response time to client requests, determine project priorities, establish status and process transparency, and reduce rework. Project is in implementation.
