Perform duties as Charge Nurse for the Operating Room managing the Elective and Emergency Schedules.•Maintain yearly and monthly budget, coordinated and ordered equipment and supplies for Plastic Surgery and Genitourinary Surgery. Also provide circulatory and scrubbing services for General Surgery, Cardiothoracic, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Oral Maxillary, Neuro, Gynecology, Hand and other ambulatory and multiple surgical cases in other surgical areas including trauma and emergent cases. And perform yearly departmental inventory.•Worked closely with other departments of the company to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, including: prep assessments, intraoperative care, and post op discharge from operating room to PACU.•Manage and assist in transformation of information systems to Pyxis•Provide support to ancillary providers (physicians, peer nurses, pharmacists) as well as patients and their families,•Provide superior personalized service to all patients through proper administration and counseling of their surgery and medications.
