Negotiate pricing and contract terms within assigned category, while ensuring vendor relationships are strategic in nature. Work with internal customers on reviewing category and finding opportunities to reduce spend. Ensures the procurement and contract administration processes are streamlined and completed timely and correctly, including, but not limited to, creating and managing competitive bids, tracking deadlines and project milestones, communicating with suppliers, generating contract and procurement reports and maintaining key procurement data.
