Sports truly can transform lives in a meaningful way. We have the unique opportunity to leverage ESPN\'s platforms to share stories of inspiration and perseverance with the world about our sports fans and organizations that use sport for social good. ESPN’s corporate citizenship programs and initiatives focus on Access to Sports, Leadership through Sports, Good Neighbor (grants and volunteerism) and Environmental Sustainability and we have many stories to tell about the impact being made in communities around the world. In addition, we use ESPN\'s platforms to raise awareness and inspire sports fans to donate to the V Foundation for cancer research in support of finding a cure for a disease that touches us all in some way.As a corporate citizenship lead for strategic partnerships and content development, I develop and implement strategic plans to increase awareness of ESPN’s commitment to using sport for social good where we live, work and play. all while giving back, enhancing corporate reputation and brand image, and driving awareness and impact to ESPN’s strategic cause partners. This also includes building strong relationships with sponsors, NGOs and internal and industry executives, while developing opportunities for content integration, fundraising, grant management and event activation to enhance these programs. My primary strategic partnership responsibilities include the V Foundation for cancer research, Special Olympics (international & domestic markets) and I lead ESPN\'s collaboration with Disney for children\'s hospital and wish-granting initiatives.
