Maryland Corps/Service Year Option was one of the largest registered apprenticeship programs established in the US in 20••••24. More than 80% of members were enrolled in a registered apprenticeship with the US Department of Labor while concurrently serving their communities- Co-Lead new statewide service program for over 270 full-time members that launched in less than 6 months and resulted in nearly 80% successfully completing the program. Program is projected to nearly double to 500+ members in year two- Co-create system of support to help members navigate opportunities and challenges during their service year, through bi-weekly success coaching- Co-lead the design and implementation of monthly in-person professional development offered three times monthly – topics include financial management, job readiness, civic engagement, public speaking and more- Interface with more than 100 Host Site Partners serving as employers of record, providing on the job training, and mentoring Members.
