ABOUT LISA JUCCA
I am the Global Editor for Consumer Goods, Luxury and Retail at Reuters, leading coverage of the industries that shape how the world shops, eats, and lives. Along with talented colleagues across the Americas, Europe and Asia, we track the strategies, challenges, and transformations of the world’s most influential consumer-facing companies, including Walmart, LVMH and Alibaba. Previously, I served as European Business Editor for Breakingviews, a distinguished financial commentary service, and Asia Finance Editor for Reuters. Over two decades as a correspondent, columnist, and team leader, I’ve reported from Hong Kong, Brussels, London, Zurich, and Milan—covering Banking, EU politics, Financial Regulation, Italy, Wealth Management, Taxation, and China. I am a passionate journalist, dedicated manager, and experienced writer, committed to engaging and inspiring readers through sharp analysis and global perspective. My book “30 Giorni a Hong Kong – Frammenti di una protesta”, chronicling the 2019 Hong Kong protest movement, was published in 2020. In 2017, my investigative series on the secret negotiations between the Vatican and China was commended by the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA). I care deeply about gender equality, sustainability, and public education, and actively support initiatives that promote these values.
