   Hope Grows cultivates family caregiver wellness and well-being throughout the mind, body, and spirit. During our 11-year history as a non-profit, Hope Grows has been providing emotional/mental health services and counseling to family caregivers through on-site and virtual programming, phone, in-person and virtual counseling services, support group programming, Therapeutic Respite™ activities, and educational programming. Currently, 1 in 5 Americans serves as a family caregiver, with seniors making up more than 50% of those we support. Women make up over 60% of family caregivers. If you’ve ever identified with being a caregiver or know of a caregiver, you understand that providing care can be joyous, but also laborious and demanding.As an extended part of the health care system, families are being called upon to be a part of their loved one\'s care at home. With this systemic change, caregivers report feeling inadequate, burnt out, and having compromised health…not to mention the financial, career, time, and logistical hardships. The core of the Hope Grows mission is at the forefront of these struggles. Our services help caregivers put their oxygen masks on first. We have become an integral part of their community of support.
