ABOUT LISA HENAULT

As Manager in the Water Resources Group at Hatfield I lean on my years of experience in consulting and academia to manage and investigate complex water problems throughout the province. My technical background is in fluvial geomorphology and I have a degree in education. As a consultant I manage, coordinate, and conduct detailed hydrotechnical and geomorphic analyses, and support internal mentorship and training of our staff. As a faculty member I developed and taught courses in terrain and stream assessments, earth science, hydrology, and climate change impacts. I have also supervised numerous Applied Research Projects within the MSc and BSc Ecological Restoration Programs at BCIT, focusing largely on freshwater salmon bearing streams. Specialties:Geomorphic analyses, hydrology, channel restoration, channel design, surface water hydrology, environmental flow needs, provincial and federal permitting applications, geohazard management and field coordination, management, project management, education and training, course development, applied field techniques, public outreach, proposal writing, funding applications
