ABOUT LISA EDWARDS
As the Head of Learning and Organisational Development at Staffordshire Police, I led a high-performance L&D function that supports the strategic and operational objectives of the force. I have over 20 years of experience in developing and implementing L&D strategies, frameworks, and programmes in challenging, complex, and continually changing environments across various sectors, including health, social care, prison service, and coaching.My core competencies include managing end-to-end training lifecycles, embedding new approaches, analysing organisational training needs, providing structure, direction, and joined-up thinking, and empowering and motivating teams. I have successfully transformed the L&D culture and delivered nationwide L&D programmes for the NHS Service, Synergia Coaching, and HMP Prison Service, meeting statutory, mandatory, and audit requirements. I am also committed to my own professional development and working towards CIPD Level 5 Learning & Development and ILM Level 7 Executive Coaching & Mentoring qualifications.
