As a Media Archive Intern, I support the preservation and organization of Nebraska Public Media’s extensive media collection. My responsibilities include:Managing and updating digital and physical media archives to ensure long-term accessibility and organization.Utilizing Airtable to catalog and track archived content efficiently.Digitizing legacy materials, including scanning historical documents, photographs, and magazines.Assisting with metadata entry, file naming conventions, and archival best practices.Supporting the transition from analog to digital systems for improved archival processes.This role has strengthened my attention to detail, organizational skills, and understanding of media preservation in a public broadcasting environment.
