ABOUT LISA FLEISCHER
I have been working in the Power Generation and Energy industry since 2008. I spent my first 17 years working in the Public Power Utility space. My experience includes managing enterprise-wide insurance portfolio, investigation, negotiation and settlement of claims, creating and directing a legal operations department, balancing customer service with utility operations and safety, overseeing real property and land management, modernizing e-doc services/records management, and creating contract governance. Continual education is a must to be successful. I have successfully obtained my Juris Doctor degree, as well as a Masters in Business Administration. I also serve on multiple advisory committees for several insurance mutuals that specialize in insuring electric utilities. I have created an extensive network of risk managers, insurance directors and brokers both nationally and internationally. It is challenging to balance family, work and travel. However, it is these challenges in life that move you from complacency to excellence. I welcome this challenge daily on my path to continued success.
