ABOUT LISA FACCIOLLA
I\'m Lisa Facciolla, the Director of Engagement at the US Hereditary Angioedema Association (HAEA). I was diagnosed with Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) when I was 12 years old, and since then, the HAE community has been an essential part of my life. My personal experience fuels my passion for supporting and empowering young people who are navigating life with HAE.For over twelve years, I’ve worked in the nonprofit sector as a youth program administrator. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to creating spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to share their stories of overcoming adversity. I believe in the power of storytelling and advocacy to drive change, and I take pride in helping our community find and use their voices to make an impact.At the HAEA, I’m honored to lead programs that not only meet the unique needs of the HAE community, but also support them as they embrace a brighter future. I’m proud to be part of an organization that gives me the opportunity to redefine what it means to grow up with a rare disease.Outside of work, I’m the proud mom of a young boy, and I love capturing life’s special moments through photography.
