A little about myself: I got adopted at 18 months old from China and grew up in Kansas as an only child with my parents and Russian Blue, Molly. At William Jewell, I pursued a Business Administration major alongside Economics, Non-Profit Leadership, and Acquired Critical Thought and Inquiry. Upon graduating, I continued to UMKC to get my MBA with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management and Entrepreneurship. I still reside in Kansas, now with my boyfriend and two dogs, April and Ralph. Outside of work, I play competitive pickleball, workout, and lead personal trainings and group fitness classes. I have worked in many different positions including being a Commercial Real Estate Finance Analyst at KeyBank, Global Finance Functional Excellence Intern at DST Systems, Corporate Procurement Lead at T-Mobile, and Lease Specialist at Pyramid Network Services. I have 2+ years of experience in the Telecommunications Industry working directly with lease negotiations and contracts. I have 2 years of sourcing, spend analysis and contract cycle management while working at Epiq Systems. From my previous work, I have gained a depth of knowledge specifically in negotiating, analyzing and assessing numbers, and paying close attention to wording and phrases in a written contract. The most important skill set that I have achieved is being able to care for and understand people. Being empathetic and truly a listener to those you work with and know is critical to success in work and life.
