About Lisa Diggs
Experienced educational professional who has a passion for literacy, reading and teaching students to be effective communicators in their writing and oral expression. Passionate about learning and teaching students in a motivational sytle, engaging them in STEM, Arts and music, as well as teaching Financial Literacy and money management. Most importantly I care about helping others, from serving homeless people, and seniors hot meals, donating my time as a caregiver for seniors and being an advocate for the needs of Veterans and their families. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been involved in taking professional development in SEL, use of google technology platforms; for example: Quizlet, NEARPOD, Kahoot, Flipgrid Classroom, and joining Teacher2Teacher to discuss how to help students learn remotely.
