Lisa De Simone is an expert in the primary and secondary markets with experience as a curator, art advisor, and gallery director. Lisa\'s experience spans every aspect of pricing works and organizing an auction, to running a gallery; from client relations and client acquisition to events management. She has international experience managing exhibitions, shipping, art fairs, and exceeding sales targets. Lisa was the Senior Specialist of Post-War and Contemporary Art at Bonhams where she was the lead specialist in the world record sale of The Grace House mural by Keith Haring. She is a proven business getter with extensive experience launching new collecting categories, establishing auction records, launching online auction platforms, and curating theme sales. Lisa graduated with an MA in the History of Art from University College London, and, upon graduation, worked at Christie’s London. Lisa then went on to become a Specialist in Contemporary Art at Phillips, London, where she established several auction records and introduced many contemporary artists to the secondary market. In addition, she organized exhibitions at Phillips New York and London. Lisa then returned to the primary market, becoming Director and Curator at C24 Gallery in New York. She has extensive experience as a curator having organised exhibitions in New York, London, Rome, Miami, and Istanbul. Lisa has lectured about the Contemporary Art Market and Gallery Practices at the University of Zurich, New York University, Deutsche Bank, Arte Fiera Bologna, Contemporary Istanbul, and Art Market Hamptons, as well as at many galleries in the UK and Italy.
