My career to date has been spent in both FTSE and Boutique agencies where I have learned from some of the very best in the industry and now allows me to fulfil an ambition I have always harboured – which is to build something truly authentic to me and to support clients and candidates in a way that is genuinely personal and bespoke to them. To ensure the brand aligned with the purpose of starting the business, it felt important to choose a name and ethos in which I strongly believe. As many know, exploring the great outdoors is a real passion of mine and I wanted to see this live in my business day-to-day. I also fundamentally believe the best recruiters carefully and expertly guide people through a journey to ensure everyone reaches their end goal. The name, Tenzing Search is a nod (granted a big nod!) to Tenzing Norgay, the first Sherpa to summit Everest and guide, his client, Sir Edmund Hilary to the top, where many others had failed.

ABOUT LISA COLLINS
I have been in the Recruitment Industry for the last 16 years in a variety of roles, I started out with Michael Page and enjoyed a 14 year career with them, across Australia and the UK.After managing large teams and building functions at Michael Page, I decided it was time to work for a smaller business, to support building new new teams from scratch.All of this ultimately led me to create my own business, Tenzing Search.As many know, exploring the great outdoors is a real passion of mine and I wanted to see this live in my business day-to-day. I also fundamentally believe the best recruiters carefully and expertly guide people through a journey to ensure everyone reaches their end goal. My business will focus on Senior Qualified roles, within Finance and Accountancy Recruitment, looking after both Interim and Permanent opportunities across all sectors. This is a market I have worked in for many years where I understand deeply the opportunities and challenges that exist across this integral discipline for every organisation.
