I am a firm believer in the power of collaboration and clear communication within diverse teams as a key to achieving operational excellence and effective EHS programs. With a passion for safety and environmental management, risk management, and change management, I approach every project with the goal of aligning all stakeholders and fostering a resilient and adaptive environment. As a senior operations executive, I have successfully navigated through rapidly changing environments, overcoming obstacles and identifying innovative solutions to complex problems. With extensive global experience in EHS program leadership, I have demonstrated ability in architecting and executing effective EHS programs. Having served as a Global Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety at ADM, I have overseen EHS and Process Safety across the organization. I have also led the creation and implementation of various programs such as the \"Safe or We Don\'t Do It\" campaign, the Top 20+20 Safety Challenged Sites Program, and the Machine Access and Guarding program. I am proud of my achievements in reducing the overall injury/illness rate by 17% to 0.66 during my tenure at ADM. Another highlight was the creation of the Severe Incident Investigation Program, which adopted the Apollo Root Cause Investigation tool for all severe incidents. Furthermore, I am honored to have been recognized as one of Putman Media’s Influential Women in Manufacturing in 2018. I also previously on the University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering Leadership Board, where I am able to contribute my expertise to the development of future engineering leaders.Looking ahead, my goal is to leverage my skills and experiences to continue to drive operational excellence and effective EHS programs.
