Good Things Foundation is the UK’s leading Digital Inclusion Charity with the aim of Fixing the Digital Divide. Since 2010 we\'ve helped over 2.3 million people change their lives through digital technology. Our vision is a world where everyone benefits from digital and we are aiming to support another 1 million people by 2025.We support and run the National Digital Inclusion Network: a network of over community organisations, making a powerful movement for digital and social change.We run the National Databank, think of a food bank for people who cannot afford mobile data, the National Device Bank which aims to repurpose old but useful technology to distribute to individuals and families who can’t afford a device and we run LearnMyWay, a national online digital skills learning platform designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind.Alongside this, we design and deliver community-based digital and social inclusion programmes with a wide range of funding partners, nationally, locally and internationally. Our partners include Virgin Media O2, Vodafone, Nominet, JP Morgan Chase, HMRC, Yorkshire Building Society amongst many others We also run the UK\'s biggest annual digital inclusion campaign: Get Online Week.There are currently 8.5 million people in the UK who don\'t have all the Basic Digital Skills needed to participate in the digital world; and 2.4 million families who can’t afford mobile data and 1.5 million people who don’t have a smartphone, tablet or laptop. These people are also the most excluded in society, experiencing unemployment, poverty, disability, poor health and social isolation.As Chief Operating Officer, I am privileged to lead fabulous teams to develop and deliver fantastic digital services and products which help communities organisations, partners and individuals themselves to close the digital inclusion gap.
