ABOUT LISA LONGORIA BOURGOYNE
With over 25 years of experience in advocacy and leadership, I currently serve as CEO of The Landing, a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Leveraging expertise in the child advocacy movement and as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I guide trauma-informed programs that provide safety, trust, and long-term restoration. By fostering partnerships and raising awareness, we strive to drive systemic change and end human trafficking locally and beyond. Previously, I led strategic initiatives as Director of Forensic Services, Program Director, and Director of Partner Relations at The Children\'s Assessment Center, facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration among 60 partner agencies. My work emphasized best practices, compliance, program evaluation, and data-driven improvements, enhancing child abuse advocacy standards. Passionate about ethical leadership and survivor-centered solutions, I aim to create transformative systems that empower individuals and communities.
