ABOUT LISA BEAUFORD
Having worked in the field of education for the past eighteen years has been both rewarding and challenging. I\'ve worked in an elementary setting for a year and a half, teaching math, science, and social studies. I was in the middle school setting for fifteen years teaching English/Language Arts (co-teaching, honors, and APEX), creative writing, reading across the curriculum, and social studies. I worked in School Administration for three years, both in the building and as a virtual administrator for grades 6-12 (during the COVID pandemic). I am currently working in a high school setting in the Dragon Academy providing a positive, personalized learning experience for students (juniors and seniors) and assisting them in moving toward the next step in life. That step may be the next grade, a job upon graduation, or enrollment in higher education.
