Partner in Financial Services, focused on Business Risks & Controls, with a particular specialism in change and control, in both risk and finance functions.I am the Banking lead supporting our clients as they begin on their journey to compliance with the new UK Corporate Governance Code and the broader outcomes from the BEIS consultation.Please contact me to discuss any of the below, or more broadly regarding the FS industry.My breadth of experience includes- developing and assessing risk management and internal control frameworks across all types of risk, including financial, non-financial and ESG reporting, compliance and operational risks- assessing the effectiveness of existing control environments and leading no regrets actions to implement SOx as well as overall finance effectiveness reviews and control environment improvements- developing new, or improving existing, control frameworks including SOx and COSO- developing controls during and after transformation and change programmes as well as merger and de mergers or carve outs- supporting clients as they respond to regulatory requirements, through business process assessment and development as well as overlaying controls and governance frameworks- developing and leading (regulatory) change programmes, both assessing programme effectiveness and directing programmes to completion including programme management, PMO buildout and significant senior stakeholder management- leading PwC’s Process Intelligence offering in FS, aiding our clients to utilise data in order to gain efficiencies and decrease the risk in their business processes- advisory projects in the accounting industry, specialising in banks and broker dealers.
