About Lisa Baena

My goal is simply this: Make a positive impact for a company as well as in people\'s lives! The reasoning behind this thinking comes directly from the way I grew up. I come from pretty humble beginnings; Growing up in the country side of Austria, I was able to learn a lot, most importantly SETTING GOALS. The type of goal setting and self-discipline that took me from helping with the horses on a farm in a small country to becoming an international winner as a track athlete also allowed me to attend school here in the United States on a scholarship at the University of Arizona and Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Over my time at SMU I learned a lot about myself: I can adapt to anything, I work well under pressure, and I am a leader that is willing to do anything I would ask a teammate to do. Being a part of the SMU family, especially the indoor and outdoor American Conference Champion women\'s track team, taught me how important each individuals is to make the team successful. That same mindset for success is how I live life: doing my best to make every individual piece work best for the big picture.
