   Archbold Medical Center is a four-hospital, three nursing-home system with 540 beds; It employs more than 2,500 people and boasts an outstanding medical staff of more than 160 qualified specialists. Reports to the Chief Accounting Officer, providing external consultants with preparation, filing, and subsequent audits of the Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reporting, and ad hoc project support. Overhauled the budget reporting process (cost allocation analysis for all entities) while serving as the budget software administrator and collaborating with the Chief Accounting Officer; documented reporting procedures, trained end –users, and utilized budget software resulting in 30% performance improvement and decreased time of completion by 50 %. Identified and established key performance indicators through data analyzation utilizing IBM ActionOI software that increased accurate reporting for financials, productivity, utilization rates, and demand studies to be reviewed by the Chief Financial Officer. Collaborated with accountants and the Chief Accounting Officer to streamline the month-end reporting process; adapted budgeting software enhancements to prepare allowance calculations, net AR, and review of Medicare/Medicaid receivables to cut month-end reporting time in half. Seized the role of Administrator for the costing module (Agilum/Sentry Data System) once it was discovered the software was not being utilized; leveraged software to validate data and generate reports for the CFO and incorporated into the environment, producing substantial new reports.
