About Lisa Alexander

I have had two dramatically different careers: journalist and development officer. It’s been an adventure to take a diversified base of skills and use them to translate across many professions. I truly believe that communication skills are the key to success in any career. I have appreciated the opportunities I\'ve been given to use my skills to engage people in a story or a cause. The diversity of my career choices have allowed me to manage a budget, create and develop websites, mobile apps, create messaging online and in social media, develop programs and even a concierge style store for Cox employees. I\'ve run boards, fundraisers, strategy sessions and led an Innovation Team in building a new service that increases revenues while building employee relations at CoxHealth. My greatest accomplishments have been watching employees go on to do bigger and better, to \"grow past me\" and take what I can share and make it better! What\'s the next challenge is what I\'m constantly asking myself?

This has proven to encourage CoxHealth employees to support these businesses who help them have additional resources for their patients or their co-workers in times of great need. This includes a mobile APP that keeps our employees connected to these discounts whether at work or out in the community.Responsible for all marketing of development programs, creation of marketing materials for capital projects, copy for all newsletters, website, social media and related materials.
