About Lisa Lee

I am an energizing higher education professional with a proven track record of increasing alumni engagement. In all of my roles - within alumni relations, student affairs, and admissions - I have focused on connecting students, alumni, and faculty in order to build valuable professional and personal networks, leading to increased philanthropic support for the institution. My successes include leading the strategic annual planning process for Emory\'s Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement to enable them to meet ambitious engagement goals, reviewing the plan regularly to measure the department\'s progress. I conducted an evaluation of Emory\'s volunteer programs, making recommendations that led to the creation of a volunteer management team, and developed and implemented a prospect management process for alumni engagement staff. At Swarthmore, I strengthened the relationship between the Alumni Council and the alumni relations office, aligning their mission with that of the College. During Swarthmore’s Sesquicentennial All-Alumni Weekend, I led a team of alumni volunteers, staff and faculty to deliver an exceptional 4-day program to 2700 attendees, more than in any year before or since. I am known as a strong collaborator and communicator, and have used those skills effectively in developing new alumni affinity communities. I have developed and delivered programs on live and virtual platforms, recruited and coached faculty and alumni speakers, and chaired an annual conference on entrepreneurship. I also do independent consulting work in the field of alumni relations.
