I never planned to start a business. I was just looking to buy a new cell phone.At 14, I found a Chinese seller offering the model I wanted -$40 cheaper than what I saw on eBay. So, I bought it. Listed it on eBay myself. It sold in a few hours. That single sale taught me two things: I didn’t need permission to make money - and every inefficiency is an opportunity.Fast forward a few years, I was running multiple drop shipping stores and drowning in manual work. I couldn’t find a tool that could manage everything. So I built one myself. It was ugly. But it worked. That tool became AutoDS.What started as a black-screen script for personal use grew into a global automation platform serving over sellers. And in 2024, AutoDS was acquired by Fiverr. We scaled with no outside funding - just relentless iteration, problem-solving, and a refusal to quit.I come from a family of Ukrainian immigrants. No business background. No safety net. Just the mindset that if a competitor can win, I can figure it out and win bigger.Now I share what I’ve learned to help other builders avoid the BS, see the real path, and build things that last.    Acquired by Fiverr (NYSE: FVRR) in 2024I built AutoDS from the ground up after facing the pain of manually managing multiple dropshipping stores. I wrote the first line of code myself, creating a simple black-screen tool to solve my own problem. That tool evolved into the #1 all-in-one dropshipping platform, now used by over eCommerce sellers worldwide.Along the way, we became the top-rated app on the Shopify App Store and Trustpilot, processed over $150M+ in annual GMV, and completely redefined automation for online sellers. In 2024, AutoDS was acquired by Fiverr, marking the first time a public company acquired a dropshipping platform - and a huge milestone for the industry.
