About Lionel Taylor
I always knew that I wanted to enter the Finance Industry, but never knew how to go about it at a young age. When I entered college, I chose to have a concentration in Economics so I can truly understand how financial markets, healthcare, education and legislation directly affect each other during our daily routines as mankind. Generating such a desire for this knowledge led to an appointment by my colleagues for a seat on the board for Prince George\'s County division of the Maryland Central Committee my junior year of college along with earning two internships my senior year in Finance & Economic Development. After graduation, I have obtained the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification along with the General Securities Representative (Series 7) certification. I now assist in the Retail Sales Consultant role at The Vanguard Group!Outside of work, I am a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, a non-profit organization in which our four cardinal principals are manhood, scholarship, perseverance and uplift.I enjoy traveling, the research and implementation of economic strategy and sharing these experiences with my colleagues.
