   As the owner and successor of Keith Bennett’s Karate Academy, I carry forward the legacy of my instructor, Master Keith Bennett, who trained directly under Tang Soo Do’s founder, Grandmaster Hwang Kee, and his successor, Grandmaster H.C. Hwang. This lineage is the foundation of my teaching and the standard by which I guide our students and instructors. My role is to preserve the integrity of this art while helping each student grow in skill, confidence, and character.I serve as the school’s chief instructor, curriculum designer, and philosophical guide. Every class plan, testing standard, and rank requirement is built to reflect both the technical precision and moral discipline that define Tang Soo Do. Through detailed training cycles, instructor development programs, and corrective feedback systems, I have structured a path that helps every student progress with clarity and purpose. Our approach blends physical skill, mental focus, and moral strength so that progress on the floor translates to growth in life.The philosophical roots of Tang Soo Do are central to my teaching. The principles of humility, respect, perseverance, and self-control are woven into every class. Students learn that true martial arts training is not about competition but about the pursuit of balance between body, mind, and spirit. As owner and leader, I oversee every aspect of the academy’s operation, from curriculum and instructor training to community engagement and student experience. Keith Bennett’s Karate Academy remains more than a school. It is a living expression of Tang Soo Do’s purpose: to develop stronger, wiser, and more compassionate human beings. In honoring the legacy of my teacher and the founder before him, my goal is to ensure this art continues to inspire and transform future generations.
