ABOUT ZIH-JYUN LIN

Hi, I\'m Zih-Jyun, a master\'s student majoring in computer science at Arizona State University, specializing in DevOps, distributed systems, audio-related machine learning, and algorithmic trading. DevOps Previously, I had three software-related internship experiences. At ASJade, I developed an Infrastructure as Code template using AWS CDK to simplify ITN node infrastructure deployment on EKS cluster in MOBI community. At Moldex3D, I integrated and enhanced the functionalities of the CICD processes by organizing and visualizing daily test data scattered in log files, as well as improving efficiency through thread programming. At Cathay Securities Corporation, I introduced a new CICD pipeline using GitLab server to replace SVN. Distributed System In NTHU Logos Lab, we developed a double-linked blockchain system with a new consensus proof-of-refundable-tax (PoRT). I also introduced software engineering methods to the project based on my industrial experience to improve the system\'s reliability. Furthermore, I was a member of the NTHU Student Cluster Competition team and also part of the NTHU-KW team for the APAC HPC-AI in 2021, where I accelerated DLRM and GROMACS simulation with parallel programming and hardware acceleration methods on clusters and won 2nd Place. Machine Learning As an Ex-Research Assistant at Taipei Medical University, I developed new classification models for dementia diagnosis based on patients\' utterances to accelerate and simplify AD and MCI diagnosis procedures. My work was also published in ICASSP 2024. Algorithmic Trading I integrate my technical skills into trading. At Yuanta Futures, I have used Multichart to execute algorithm trading strategies. In the contest held by Taipei Exchange, I crawled the data of stocks and bonds and then filtered and optimized the portfolio with Python. Now, I\'m a part-time software engineer at Quent Sense, translating, backtesting, and optimizing traders\' thoughts to Pine Script and Python.
