ABOUT LINUS HORN
Once I started my studies in B.Sc. Economics at the University of Hamburg, I quickly noticed that I enjoyed learning about theories which provided me with a solid general economic understanding and taught me logical reasoning. A year into my studies I also found out about my strong interests in finance and business in general. That’s why I chose finance and business administration courses in the last semesters. Learning new things and working with people is another passion of mine. Hence, I decided to join the student consulting organization Hanseatic Consulting to expand my consulting skills. For my masters studies it was important for me to start learning practical skills for business and at the same time challenging myself in an international setting. That\'s how I ended up with Hult International Business School in Boston. Learning in a truly unique environment of 140+ nationalities, I hope to take away a lot of experiences which help me thrive in a career in a Financial Analyst role later on. Since October 2024, I am broadening my knowledge even further with a Master in Business Analytics to learn about Python, SQL, R, … and how to apply those skills in practice.
