ABOUT LINSEY BARRETT-GROSFIELD

I have worked in the travel and tourism industry, more specifically group sales and destination services, for almost six years. My passion for traveling led me to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration in both Hospitality/Tourism Management and Marketing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Since my undergraduate, I have continued to pursue higher education. I recently earned a Master of Business Administration with a Hospitality and Marketing focus and a Certification in Meetings and Events from Florida Atlantic University.My career started with an internship here at Discover The Palm Beaches, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Palm Beach County, FL, while in school finishing my Bachelor\'s. This internship led me into my first full-time role within the organization. Since being hired on the team, I have worked in various roles, from destination services specialist, account executive, group sales manager, and now a senior manager in meeting and convention sales. This experience allowed me to build relationships with industry and community leaders, hotel partners, meeting professionals, and local businesses, all while promoting the destination for meetings and events.Now, as the Senior Manager for Meeting and Convention Sales, I get to use my experience, knowledge, and passion for the destination to continue representing The Palm Beaches as the premier meetings destination in Florida.I look forward to meeting with you and welcoming you to America\'s First Resort Destination – The Palm Beaches, FL!
