ABOUT LINNEA JOHNSON-MCCALLA

Now that I\'ve received my MS in Urban Policy Analysis and Management, I\'m seeking opportunities to further explore the monitoring and evaluation arena. Defining and leveraging the link between theoretical policies and practical tools for implementation, while maximizing the desired impact, is what I seek to do professionally. Working directly with youth taught me that the stakes are high and we need to value the lives of others. In my efforts to design and implement programs, I learned how to operate within constraints and what it means to objectively set goals while maintaining aspiration. Having internal goals guiding your work and a strong leadership team are vital tools for reaching organizational goals. I believe there are many great organizations that want to improve the lives of those in need and I want to get behind that endeavor through my love for research, practice, and others.
