ABOUT LINN PARRISH ELMES
As a seasoned corporate responsibility executive and non-profit Board Director, I have deep experience in developing and leading partnerships that benefit patients, companies, and society at large. For the last 15+ years, my work has focused on advancing how organizations leverage their missions and core competencies for the broader good, focusing the last 10+ years on the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently, I am consulting in the biopharma and healthcare sectors to drive cross-sector health collaborations. Prior to consulting, I was Head of Health Equity Alliances and Partnerships for Takeda’s Center for Health Equity and Patient Affairs responsible for developing and nurturing long-term alliances with external partners to help educate, inspire, and enable others to do their part to advance better health around the world. I am especially passionate about advancing diagnosis for people with rare diseases. Before Takeda’s acquisition of Shire, I served as Shire’s Global Head of Corporate Responsibility, as well as the Director of Corporate Giving & Philanthropy where I led the overarching global approach to philanthropy and corporate giving, stakeholder engagement, community relations, and employee volunteering. Before embarking on a career in healthcare, I was the Vice President of Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for Panera Bread and held senior leadership roles at several global public relations agencies. I believe we all have a responsibility and a role to play in making the world a healthier and more equitable place for all and I’m passionate about bringing people together to help make that a reality.
