WORK HISTORY
Sheq Advisor @Supertram
Sheffield, GB
Expanding Role Scope and Strategic Influence from an operational platform whilst building upon previous and withstanding established responsibilities, my new role evolves to encompass a broader scope—now fully integrating Environmental and Quality streams with an emphasis on deeper auditing practices and enhanced compliance governance. This progression reflects a strategic shift toward embedding holistic standards and continuous improvement methodologies across operational frameworks, while maintaining strong alignment with regulatory and corporate expectations whilst the business works towards ISO accreditation as a public sector service provider operating arms length under SYMCA (South Yorkshire Mayor Combined Authority).

ABOUT ANDY BUCKLEY
As a Safety Lead, I leverage my extensive experience from heavily regulated industries in roles such as Construction Management and Risk Management to ensure that safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards are met and maintained by supporting, advising, governing and monitoring compliance. Educated to BSc with Honours level 6 in Construction from SHU with other multiple certification in safety practices, risk management, auditing and environmental including NEBOSH and more. I conduct the QHSE jazz orchestra without the rift.By weaving together everyone\'s safety culture for achieving zero harm alongside environmental stewardship I ensure businesses are legally defended and have operational practicality with consideration to human behaviour improving safety trends and the occupational health and wellbeing of those involved.I have advised safety in all aspects of rail including engineering (rolling stock and maintenance), training systems, operations (planning and control) including customer services (frontline, drivers and other supporting divisions) all within public sector transportation, within an operator and infrastructure maintainer remit. The Safety critical role industries I have experienced involve Construction, Transport, Utilities (overhead powerlines >400kv), Forestry and Rail.I am also experienced in Building Maintenance, new Build, Surveying and general Operations.I am passionate about delivering high-quality services and ensuring the well-being of all stakeholders involved in the projects I manage. As well as working in the UK, I have worked in most European Regions via the bus and coach transportation industry operationally as well as occasional senior tour driving with a fleet of tri- axle executive private hire coaches across multiple difficult routes crossing country borders with exposure to dangerous environments such as alpine passes with the utilisation of snow chain driving techniques. These trips included countries such as Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Czech Rep, Austria, Italy and more.My current major undertaking is the HSE(Nebosh) MSc degree at Hull University to continue my professional development in the field of SHEQ with a goal to senior level consulting.
