As a branch intern I am involved in many aspects around the branch office I am assigned to. I get the opportunity to experience all sides of the Edward Jones branch financial office system including shadowing under both the Financial Advisor and the Registered Branch Associate as well as getting the opportunity to tour other branch offices around the Little Rock area. In addition to my shadowing under these roles I am also given an individual “summer project” which, when complete, is meant to benefit the firm in a way that will last after I leave. For this, I took on the role as the branch’s marketing manager to help plan a growth strategy and marketing campaign focused on increasing the office’s reputation online through LinkedIn and Facebook.
