Making wood a hero material for building art forward, everyday objects is a space where I see very little real innovation. Most options sit between mass-produced knockoffs or designs that haven’t evolved in decades.Druvtara is a boutique wood studio working in that gap. It treats wood as a base palette, layering it with other materials to create original products which are evocative, form-forward, and most importantly, human.Prior to this, I was a cofounder at Mantra, where my core focus was growth. I set up and led product, marketing, sales, presales, and innovation teams to shape and deliver tech enabled business outcomes.Long before that, as an eighth grader who took his craft class a little too seriously, I ran a short-lived paper bag business (compliance issues with mom;)) that made a modest profit. It was quite a thrill and probably set me up for life.Those early experiments stayed with me through techno-functional roles across consumer startups like Jabong and MakeMyTrip, financial firms, and eventually Mantra.I’m a believer in structured, framework-driven thinking and clear business storytelling. At the moment, I’m applying that lens to stories told in wood.When I’m not in my workshop or on a spreadsheet, I’m on my motorcycle.
