I am passionate about advancing public health through cutting-edge science and technology, leveraging my robust background in life science and agricultural science. Currently, I serve as an Associate Service Fellow at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where I apply my expertise in outbreak investigation, data analysis, surveillance system evaluation, and health communication to drive impactful public health initiatives. My core competencies are listed below: 1. Over ten years of experience in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Food Science. Expertise in next generation sequencing (NGS): wet-lab assay developments for Illumina, PacBio, Nanopore, bioinformatics analyses and data interpretation.
