About Lingting Ge
As the Director of Research Engineering at TuSimple, I lead a high-performing team of more than 10 engineers developing a perception system for level-4 autonomous driving trucks using camera, LiDAR, Radar, and more. We research, develop, and deploy cutting-edge perception algorithms for onboard systems, including 2D & 3D object detection, segmentation, sensor fusion, tracking, and prediction. We also design and build machine learning and deep learning infrastructures to optimize our team’s efficiency.I have over six years of experience in perception for autonomous driving, starting as a Senior Research Engineer and then becoming a Tech Lead Manager before taking on my current role. I am passionate about solving complex and challenging problems in the field of perception and creating impactful solutions that can transform the future of transportation.
