About Ling Luo

Ling Luo is the Marketing and Events Coordinator at USGBC California, where she leads social media strategy, event marketing, and brand-aligned visual storytelling. She develops and executes cross-platform campaigns that grow digital engagement, strengthen brand presence, and drive event attendance across California’s green building community.With a background in Architectural Engineering from USC and Chongqing University, Ling began her career in the AEC and sustainability space and has been actively involved with local and regional ASHRAE and USGBC initiatives. She later pivoted into marketing and communications and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) at Cal State LA. Ling is a LEED AP BD+C and plans to become a WELL AP.Outside of work, she is an award-winning Los Angeles–based freelance photographer whose work has been featured in Forbes, the Los Angeles Times, and exhibited by the Smithsonian. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, ice skating, and spending time with her cats.
