With over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, I have a proven track record of delivering business-critical products and scaling teams.My expertise lies in deep learning, recommendation systems, and statistical modeling. I have successfully led the advertiser growth team at Coupang, where I established a compelling vision and fostered cross-functional collaboration between teams spanning Korea and the US. I hold a Ph.D. in Statistics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University. My mission is to leverage data-driven insights to enhance user engagement and drive business growth.

The org is rapidly growing due to its business criticalness.We aspire to build meaningful connection between people and business with innovative machine learning technologies. The team is responsible for multiple critical business goals and is one of the biggest share holder for the revenue growth at Meta. The team consists of hundreds of strong software engineers and research scientists working on state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models. The team invests in critical directions including retrieval, foundation model, sequence learning, ML efficiency, data scaling, LLM for RecSys, and etc.Our team owns or co-owns the ranking and retrieval models of major ads products and also conducts research for pushing the ML boundary, which allows us to have big influence on landing state-of-the-art innovative technologies to our major ads products at Meta.
