ABOUT LINFENG WANG
As a PhD student in computational genomics at LSHTM, I apply deep learning to bioinformatics problems, focusing on tuberculosis drug resistance and transmission. My work includes developing neural network models—such as CNNs, GNNs, and generative models—for predicting drug resistance directly from genomic data, as well as exploring generative approaches for peptide design. This research contributes to broader efforts in understanding and combating infectious diseases through data-driven, AI-integrated methods.
