About Linfei Yuan

As a Computer Science major at NYU Tandon with a passion for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics, I’m constantly exploring new ways to leverage technology for innovative solutions. I’ve been fortunate to work on cutting-edge research projects, such as optimizing quadruped robot gait efficiency and integrating AI-driven control systems for medical applications. My research experience has been recognized at leading conferences, where I’ve co-authored publications on population synthesis and microtransit forecasting. In addition to my technical work, I serve as President of the Tandon Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA), where I lead a dynamic team to foster community engagement, organize career development events, and raise funds through strategic partnerships. I also assist my peers as a Teaching Assistant for Artificial Intelligence at NYU, where I help students troubleshoot complex AI models and optimize algorithms. My diverse experiences across research, leadership, and teaching have shaped my goal of building a career at the intersection of AI and robotics, where I can continue to innovate and contribute to advancements in technology that improve everyday life.
