I am a problem solver who enjoys looking at situations from different perspectives and finding the best solutions to help others. I have spent the past 17 years working and learning all aspects of television news media. The highlight of my career has been working with teams on powerful stories that impact lives in our community every single day. Train journalism interns and utilize social media platforms to its highest potential for breaking news, professional relationships and development of story ideas. • Reduced costs and overtime within the newsroom through facilitation planning, logistical coordination and implementation of schedule changes for photographer’s unit, while maintaining integrity of production. • Forged and fostered working relationship with Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services to produce weekly segment on adoptive children. • Played integral role in achieving recognition as Emmy Award Winner for regularly scheduled daily newscast 6pm news team through leadership, coordination and production activities. • Emmy Nominee, 2011; Emmy Award Winner 2020. • Recognized by the City of Los Angeles for Foster Care Partnership and Adoption Segment, as well as Hermandad Mexicana for Immigration and Community coverage.
