Voice and Musicianship Training- Individual lessons to explore and develop your voice in all contemporary styles and genres. I work mostly with adults who want to strengthen the voice and learn how to properly sing their particular genre. My clients sing various popular genres, from Rock, Alternative, Pop, Folk, to Soul and Jazz. Lessons are extremely relaxed and informal, after all, I am a musician!I require all my students to accompany themselves on either guitar or piano. I teach very basic and easy to learn methods to make you a completely self sufficient musician.You will also learn how to market yourself as an independent musician. Everything from internet marketing to getting gigs. Additional instruction may include mic technique and stage performance. Songwriting & Lyric Instruction - Whether you\'re starting from scratch or need to arrange and/or complete your songs, I will guide you through basic songwriting theory and lyrics writing for all contemporary styles. A thorough evaluation will determine whether you are more of a writer or an arranger so that you can learn specific techniques to ensure you can write freely, creatively and continuously. Vocal Production-In-studio vocal coaching for recording sessions. The vocal producer\'s job is to get the very best recorded vocal of which the artist is capable. Generally, the vocal producer will produce several vocal tracks of the singer and together with the engineer, will \"comp\", or choose the best of, the tracks for the master lead vocal. Having a vocal producer can save a good amount of time and money in the studio and will guarantee you deliver the best vocals for your tracks.I offer on-site studio coaching for solo artists and front men/women in bands. I also offer pre-production vocal consultations where we will go over your vocal parts and if necessary, arrange, rewrite problem spots, apply techniques and compose backing vocals to get you ready for recording.
