WORK HISTORY
Chief of Staff @SF-Marin Food Bank
As Chief of Staff, I lead internal empowerment and engagement initiatives, workplanning and tracking, and cross-departmental priority objectives that advance our Strategy Roadmap, while ensuring accountability to funders and grant compliance. As a member of the senior leadership team, I lead executive content development, facilitate key meetings, and establish business process and facilitation practices that help the organization operate more effectively in service of our mission and goals. In this role, I apply organizational development and change management best practices to implement strategic priorities, track measurable outcomes, and provide guidance on scaling high-impact innovations while retiring ineffective initiatives. My work ensures that SFMFB achieves its mission goals, strengthens equity and inclusion, and sustains long-term organizational capacity and impact.

ABOUT LINDSY CARPENTER
I am a committed social sector leader with a passion for driving mission impact through effective programming and resourcing, and creating functional and operational systems that allow organizations to more effectively fulfill their mission and scale their impact. I lead with my core values of growth, connection and joy. I serve as a key organizational leader and trusted partner for CEOs and Boards of Directors, bringing strategic insight on organizational impact and leading high-performing programs, operations and fund development, focused on propelling the future growth and strategic response of organizations. More specifically, I direct critical leadership, programming, fundraising, and operational activities, structure and lead teams, and build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships across the organization. I have both depth and breadth in multiple key leadership areas of nonprofit management, and deliver exceptional performance across functional disciplines. I demonstrate a proven and progressive career, with a track record of internal promotions, as is reflected in my progression to the roles of Chief of Staff at the SF-Marin Food Bank, Chief Program Officer of Expanding Opportunity for the YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley, Chief of Staff for the Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment, and Executive Director of NYC Business Solutions for the NYC Department of Small Business Services. My \"superpower\" is my zoom lens: I can move through both strategy and implementation, in both short-term and long-term lanes, while seeing the innerworkings of how all of the pieces are woven together and need to work in concert to achieve a collective mission.
