Tyto Online helps empower students as they experience what it’s like to \"do\" science, by setting up authentic, meaningful problems in a video game. For example, students work with a botanist to solve a food shortage while learning about genetics, or they investigate why a seal is sick to uncover a microplastics problem that must be addressed. We\'re designed for middle school with the new three-dimensional science standards, and are designed with strategies to engage marginalized students in STEM. We\'ve been focusing on building our own middle school science content, but are beginning to talk with third parties about using our authoring tools and pedagogical framework to build custom content. Our long-term goal is to be a single video game where you can learn anything.
