   Lead and execute strategy for core AP operations for safe and secure, shortage, theft, safety, compliance, law enforcement/emergency management partnerships and team engagement-Responsible for physical security, loss prevention, and safety functions for 11 stores the Greater Nashville, TN and Northern Alabama areas- Provide supervision and subject matter leadership to over 22 team members including 5 salaried managers and 6 hourly supervisors-Develop and communicate district AP strategies, including tactical plans and expectations; leverage resources to identify and implement solutions to business opportunities- Reduce stock shortage through physical controls, detailed execution of company processes, on-the-job training and mentorship for all loss prevention based team members, and leading resolution of both internal and external theft within stores- Ensure talent management programs are in place for all Assets Protection Team Members (AP TMs) Ensure executive and hourly staffing levels are maintained through the company talent planning programs to drive and execute loss prevention programs and initiatives -Verifies all AP TMs within the district are trained to the expectations of the Company. Plans, facilitates and tracks all required AP specific certification training within their district (Directive Acknowledgement, Non-Violent Intervention, Apprehension Certifications, Internal Interviewing, etc.)-Responsible for all internal investigations and interviews involving losses in accordance with company guidelines. Resolve top alerts and organized retail crime cases in partnership with AP Director, Market Investigator and the National Investigation Center (NIC)
